About WHIILZ
We’re on a mission to transform wheelchair accessible transportation — making it as easy, reliable, and dignified as any other rideshare service.

Our Mission
To provide safe, reliable, and dignified wheelchair accessible transportation that empowers individuals with mobility challenges to live independently. We bridge the gap between the on-demand convenience of modern rideshare and the specialized needs of wheelchair users, caregivers, and their families.
Our Vision
A world where wheelchair accessible transportation is available everywhere, anytime — where mobility limitations never restrict access to employment, social connections, entertainment, or the simple joys of daily life.
Our Story
Born from a Real Need
WHIILZ was founded by individuals who experienced firsthand the frustrations of finding reliable wheelchair accessible transportation. Long wait times, limited availability, cancelled paratransit trips, and the constant uncertainty of whether a vehicle would actually be equipped to handle a wheelchair — these challenges are a daily reality for millions of Americans.
While companies like Uber and Lyft have introduced WAV options in select major cities, the reality is that wheelchair accessible vehicles remain scarce, wait times are often four to five times longer than standard rides, and many communities — particularly suburban and rural areas — have zero coverage.
WHIILZ was created to change this. By building a platform dedicated exclusively to wheelchair accessible transportation, we ensure that every vehicle in our fleet is fully equipped, every driver is specifically trained, and every ride meets ADA compliance standards. We’re not an afterthought feature on a larger platform — accessible transportation is our entire focus.
